June Yeum is an arbitrator and arbitration practitioner, specializing in complex commercial arbitration. Ms. Yeum has practiced arbitration in diverse cultural and legal systems, including in New York (15.5 years), Seoul (3 years) and Singapore (5 years). Her cases span a broad range of industry sectors, including data, infrastructure, licensing, shareholder and joint venture disputes, equipment manufacturing/delivery, distributorships and agency, technology and intellectual property rights, and life sciences. Ms. Yeum has served as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and emergency arbitrator in over a dozen arbitrations seated in Singapore and New York. She has also acted as arbitration counsel across a range of sectors under a wide variety of arbitral rules (including AAA, ICDR, ICC, HKIAC, CPR, WIPO, JAMS, LCIA, SIAC, UNCITRAL, KCAB, VIAC and SCC). Ms. Yeum is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and serves on the Committee of Foreign and Comparative Law at the New York City Bar Association. She has been recognized by Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific and The Legal 500 since 2014, and currently teaches international arbitration courses at Penn Law. Prior to her legal career, she was an economic journalist.
