Professor S.I. Strong, K.H. Gyr Professor of Private International Law at Emory University School of Law will be thefirst speaker. Her topic "How to Handle Deepfakes in Arbitration: A Novel Solution" will discuss a new proposal for handling AI-altered evidence (deepfakes). The analysis will include digitally altered video testimony as well as other types of digital submissions (documents, videos, photographs, etc.).
Our second speaker will be fellow member Philip O'Neill who will speak on the consideration of the evolving role of arbitrators in managing complex, data-driven controversies while preserving core arbitral values in adapting to the complexities of rapid changes in artificial intelligence.
