July 2026 Meeting

Tuesday, July 21, 2026 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Event Location: Baker McKenzie & Zoom

Our first speaker will be fellow member Kabir Duggal.  His presentation “Commercial Diplomacy and Treaty Design: U.S. FCN Negotiations in the Truman and Eisenhower Administrations—An Archival Study” will reconstruct the negotiation and design of Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation (FCN) treaties during the Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower administrations with a focus on how this has informed the development of the modern investment treaty framework.

Our second speaker fellow member Jack Levin will address our recurring topic -- "What else do you do?" -- with his experiences as a part-time actor. Jack will talk about his acting study and work over the years and his recent efforts to get into film and TV, all of which continues to inform his legal career.
