Club member William Baker led a discussion on Determining Patent Validity in International Arbitration. Mr. Baker is the principal of Baker ADR, a fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and has been listed multiple times in Best Lawyers in the field of International Arbitration. Professor Guido Santiago Tawil, Chair Professor of Administrative Law at the Buenos Aires School of Law, independent arbitrator and former Senior Partner at M. & M. Bomchil in Buenos Aires and former Secretary of the Argentine Federal Supreme Court of Justice, and Abby Cohen Smutny, Global Head of White & Case's International Arbitration Practice and Chambers Band 1 practitioner, discussed the ICCA Proposed Guidelines on Civility in International Arbitration.
